How to Choose Interior and Specialty Primers, Part 5 of 5 (Video)

Posted on February 15, 2018

As with many things in life, all primers are not created equally. There are many specialty primers designed for stronger adhesion for hard-to-paint surfaces, and there are some that are designed for the opposite. Here at CertaPro Painters of Louisville, we spend a lot of time learning about different surfaces in order to choose the appropriate primer, thus providing our customers with the best possible results.

There are primers that are considered Multi Surface, Synthetic, Acrylic, Alkyd, Stain Blocking, an Shellac, just to name a few. In the short video below, Tommy Broyles, Painting Representative from Dages Paint, introduces and explains the different primers to Hunter Story, our Residential Sales & Product Manager.

As you can see, there are many different types of primers that were created for different surfaces & situations.

If you are unsure of which primer to use, contact the residential and commercial painting experts at CertaPro Painters of Louisville. Give us a call today at 502-290-6636 to schedule your FREE painting estimate!
