When to Use Paint with a Flat Sheen (Video)

When working with a tall wall, especially one that gets hit with a lot of natural sunlight, it is important to consider all paint options. Something that you need to think about before painting a wall like this is the amount of imperfections it has, because as the light hits it, the imperfections will be magnified. So, in a case like this, it is recommend that you use a flat, low luster or matte finish paint, thus masking the imperfections. Now, if you were to go with a higher sheen paint, those imperfections would be highlighted when the sun got it.
